We are atheists who understand the need for progressive political activism to solve global problems like environmental destruction, starvation, senseless wars, and the violation of human rights. We see organized religions, and other movements based on irrational faith, as detrimental and, while we share the political views of many believers, we see that it is time to stop relying on "gods" and start finding real and practical solutions to global problems.
